The Vero Centre sets a benchmark for office quality, and has won numerous awards for excellence in design, construction, and efficiency. The building houses an impressive range of contemporary art works from leading New Zealand painters and sculptors and features stone and granite tilework that is reminiscent of the history of construction in this part of Auckland city. 

On completion in 2000, it was the most technologically advanced landmark office tower in New Zealand and pioneered many new architectural features that have since become standard for New Zealand commercial developments – such as its chic, multi-functional, street side lobby and outdoor dining area.
